Money's never been a motivation
But it's often caused hesitation
If there was not enough for fun
Or when she was under the gun
Trying to make those ends meet
And stand on her own two feet

She's never been driven to earn
A lot of extra money to burn
An oddity in our material world
As prized as wood that's burled
No, you can't win her with cash
It would work as well as trash

The best things in life are free
And as cliché as that might be
Some humans will never realize
Simply breathing is the prize
Amidst all the worry and strife
Human beings create in this life
